In addition to being part of the driving team, you are someone with a building, property maintenance or engineering background that is able to take on the responsibility of liasing with the various plumbers, architects, electricians and other servicemen that help us maintain our very special properties on a daily basis, to the standard our clients would expect.
This takes time and many of the contractors we use do not speak English, which is why it is essential that the successful candidate will need to speak French fluently or to a very high level.
This position demands a great deal of flexibility and interaction with guests, contractors and colleagues. With the mobile nature of this role it is essential that members of our driving team are resourceful, self motivated and pro-active. The job is often very physical calling for a high level of practical ability as well as responsibility and awareness.
Members of our driving team must be willing and outgoing displaying a “Nothing is too much trouble” attitude.
We won't lie to you, it will be hard work and at times you may have to think on your feet to resolve a problem within a couple minutes flat! But, the rewards, working with a fun and supportive Management Team and seeing lovely comments written about you in one of our guest books at the end of your clients stay, more than make up for it!
There is ''doing a season'' and there is ''doing a CK season''. You'll take the experience, skills, contacts and friends with you for life!
In addition to driving guests around resort this role includes:-
Start and end of season inventories of properties.
Weekly property checks for maintenance works and if required, liaison with the appropriate contractor, whilst ensuring an up to date file of all faults and works on behalf of the Management Team.
Responding to chalet call-outs when assistance is required with faulty appliances or minor maintenance etc.
Running errands for clients and colleagues.
House and Grounds duties including snow clearing etc.
Deliveries of various items such a fire wood, laundry, client skis and topping up chalet stocks.
Recycling of Chalet waste.
Maintaining and valeting of company vehicles to a very high standard.
Assisting with other job roles when required.
All those wishing to apply for this role must hold a full, clean EU driving license, for a minimum of five years and should be confident in driving. Experience of driving on the continent and in alpine conditions would be beneficial. Full snow training will be given.
Applicants must hold an EU passport and be a minimum age of 25years old.
